This was one of THE nicest places we have stayed!

by Pamela L

The Roaring Forks River was right outside our room! A magnificent treat for our eyes and our ears. So beautiful. Our room on the top floor in building A was super nice. We stayed out on the balcony a lot of the time just listening and enjoying the grassy park like area right next to that fabulous river! I know I am "gushing" ( pun partially intended). But I highly recommend Aspenaullt Lodge for a stay in Basalt. Close to Carbondale and Aspen. And for the frosting on that cake , we drove over McClure Pass for some spectacular fall foilage. So very
nice.

A Gem

When we pulled up to this place we were very doubtful! But is lived up to what others have said. CLEAN as can be! Quiet...not like the newer places where you can hear your neighbors cough...this place is very quiet. The beds were so amazing that I had to find out the brand so I could buy one. Rooms are small.....but we were out hiking all day so didn’t care about that at all. Our room was on the river...so opening the windows at tonight and listen to that was a treat! The lobby has had a nice remodel and the breakfast was limited but worked for us! I wish the young man in the lobby knew more about local activities. He didn’t seem at all aware of what was happening around town at all.
I would stay here again for sure! Thank you for being so darn clean!!!!
