Adamson House and Malibu Lagoon Museum

A national historic site, a state park and a California historical landmark, the Adamson House Museum features the original vacation cottage, which was built in 1929. Lovers of early 20th century architecture will appreciate the decorative Malibu tiles and lead-framed bottle glass windows (reproductions of some of the house’s tiles and potteries are available in the gift shop).

Admission

Entry is $7 for adults, $2 for children up to age 6, and free for children 5 and under.

Hours

Guided tours are available and are held Thursday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Parking

Parking onsite is not available, but free parking can be found along PCH and or for a fee at nearby at Surfrider Beach and Malibu Lagoon State Beach for $12 all-day or $3 an hour for up to three hours. The fee can also be applied to parking at any other California state park or beach same-day.
