Fittingly located on the waterfront in Annapolis, Maryland, the Annapolis Maritime Museum showcases local watercraft history and artifacts, including a locally built workboat. Families can also learn how to harvest oysters and visit a public beach outside the museum. Tours of the Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse are offered via the museum, as well.
The museum is open Thursday to Sunday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Admission is free.
