Avonlea Village

Route 6, Cavendish, Prince Edward Island

Just down the road from Green Gables (of course), families can find Avonlea Villag, a great place to stop for lunch after touring Green Gables. The charming makeshift town with replicas of Avonlea houses, features several restaurants and shops and gives visitors the feeling that they’ve stepped into the fictional land of Anne of Avonlea.

Five restaurants, including a coffee shop, Cows Creamery and Red Island Baked Potato are available to sit down and have a bite. An Anne of Green Gables Store and other shops also surround Avonlea. Live music performances take place inside Avonlea Church at select times as well. There is a charge for the live performances.
