If your kids love climbing rocks, they’ll love Bearface Mountain, which has plenty along the mile-long trail. There are a few tricky spots for young ones, but with a little parental help they’re usually fine. It’s best for kids over six and active families who love a challenge. The summit views are particularly stunning when the leaves change in the fall. For your peace of mind, don’t go if it’s rained recently, as the boulders can be dangerous when slippery.
