Home to a large majority of the historic buildings in Providence, Benefit Street is a great way to teach children about history, culture and architecture. Families can stroll along Benefit Street and see homes that are more than 100 years old. During select festivals, such as the International Art Festival, families can even sign up for special tours of some of the homes on this street.
