Families will love checking out the penguins, hippos, bears, giraffe, lemurs, gorillas and tigers at the Calgary Zoo. Watch for the Penguin Walk to happen in January, when the little tuxedo guys take a stroll through the zoo during this yearly event. Prehistoric Park is a fun spot to learn about dinosaurs and what Alberta once looked like. Check out the Canadian Wilds section of the zoo to see the wolves, eagles, mountain goats, bison and bighorn sheep.
