Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum

386 Church Street, St. Marys, Ontario, N0M 2G0

The Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in St. Marys, Ontario, is home to baseball memorabilia and exhibits that pay homage to the history surrounding the sport. Originally, the hall of fame was located in Toronto, though it moved to St. Marys in 1994 and opened in 1998. Families can learn about more than 100 inductees who contributed greatly to baseball in Canada. See the Great Canadian Dream Park and the education center before walking the various trails and setting up for a picnic on the grounds. The museum also urges visitors to bring bathing suits, as it’s located directly across from the town’s quarry, where families can go swimming on hot summer days after tours of the hall of fame.

The hall of fame is only open to the public from early May through mid-October. In May, it is open on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. In June and August, it is open Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. September and early October hours are Thursday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. From mid-October to the end of April, the hall of fame and museum is open to groups of six or more, who make reservations in advance.

Admission is $7.50 for adults and teens ages 17 and older, $6 for seniors, $3.75 for children ages 6 to 16, and free for kids ages 5 and under. The museum offers a family rate of $15 (call in advance to see if it covers the number in your party).
