Home to hundreds of hands-on-exhibits, a digital planetarium, Omnimax theater, and miniature railroad display, kids have hours of fun at hand. The new SpacePlace is a hit, providing children with an opportunity to experience what it’s like to be in space with a weightlessness simulation. The robotics exhibit and Cold War submarine has kids tapping into their engineering smarts while Kitchen Theater allows them to experiment with ice cream.

The Science Center is open for hours of fun 7 days a week from 10 to 5 p.m. with extended hours on Saturday from 10 to 7 p.m.
