Cheekwood Estate and Gardens

1200 Forrest Park Dr., Nashville, 37205, TN

Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art is home to plush gardens, with flowers, plants and sculptures throughout, as well as the famous home of the Cheek family of Nashville. Walk the trails, check out a garden show and snap photos of the seasonal exhibits. The Robinson Family Water Garden is the perfect setting for a family picnic!

The Museum of Art is based in the mansion of the Cheek family, who has lived in the area since the 1880’s. In the 1950’s the mansion was handed over to the Exchange Club of Nashville, the Horticultural Society of Middle Tennessee and other civic groups. Now it holds British and American art, along with contemporary exhibits.

Admission to the Cheekwood Botanical Gardens and Museum of Art is $14 for adults, $10 for students, and $7 for children and teens between 3 and 17; kids under 3 are free. Hours are Tuesday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The gardens and museum are closed on Mondays and holidays.
