You can’t leave Seattle without a stop at Chihuly Garden and Glass — it’s a must for anyone visiting the city. The museum features beautifully blown glass in unthinkable variations — there’s even a garden with flowers, plants and grass made of the famous material. Be sure to check out the gift shop and grab a glass ornament on your way out — it’s the perfect way to commemorate your visit.

Chihuly Garden and Glass is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday to Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Admission is $18 for adults (18 to 64); $16 for seniors (65 and up); $12 for youth (ages 4 to 12); and free for children under the age of 3.

Marvellous exhibition

Thoroughly enjoyed the exhibition of Chihuly glassware, both indoors and in the gardens. Fascinating insight provided by short documentaries in the theatre. Well worth a visit.
