Silverwood is famous for its two huge wooden coasters, Tremors and Timber Terror. Both of them will rattle your bones and send your heart rate soaring. Tremors is the wilder of the two, sending riders plummeting down a 103-foot drop, through four tunnels, and around enough twists and turns to leave you breathless. Timber Terror is only slightly calmer, sending you down an 85-foot drop and into a series of hills that create a feeling of weightlessness. Joining these two top-rated wooden coasters is Aftershock, a recent addition to the park that was voted one of the top hanging coasters in the US by The Travel Channel. That’s right, your feet dangle beneath you as Aftershock takes you through loops and rolls at 65mph, and then does it all again backwards.
