The Coca-Cola Orlando Eye, housed at I-Drive 360, is the tallest observation wheel on the East Coast. Visitors ride in air-conditioned capsules, which provide minimal seating and an audio guide who talks about points of interest as they come into focus. Although it’s difficult to see the area’s landmarks atop the wheel, riders are likely to spot Cinderella’s Castle, and on a clear day, Cape Canaveral (among a few other attractions). Beforehand, families have the option to watch an introductory show in 4D, and afterward, they can visit an onsite gift shop for souvenirs and photos (captured during flights).
The Orlando Eye is open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday to Friday, and 10 a.m. to midnight on Saturday and Sunday. Tip: Opt for the Orlando Eye Drive Experience for combined, inexpensive admission to the Orlando Eye, Madame Tussaud’s Orlando and SEA Life Aquarium Orlando.
