Kids will love to play and interact with everything inside this medium-size museum. Kids can play pretend at the farmer’s market, veterinarian clinic or grocery store. They can also slide down the pirate ship slide, experiment with bubbles, race toy cars, build with blocks, play dress up, try face paint and much more. There are always activities taking place here, and families could easily spend an hour or two at this interactive museum.

Things to Know/Bring
There is an area dedicated to toddlers and younger kids specifically. If you’d like to visit a children’s museum even closer to the beach, the Curious Kids’ Discovery Zone, a satellite museum to this one, is located next to the Silver Beach Carousel. It offers similar hands-on exhibits, with the addition of a kids’ climbing wall and water table.
Several restaurants in downtown St. Joseph are located within walking distance.
Free and paid parking lots and metered street spots surround the area. But on a busy summer day, finding parking can take some time.
