At nearly 1,000 feet in length, the Deerfield Beach International Fishing Pier is the most often visited attraction in the area. Fishing rods are available to rent, with accessories and bait available. Even if you don’t want to fish, it’s just $1 to walk out to the end of the pier to take in the views. Private fishing lessons are available, and every first Thursday, teens ages 13 to 18 are invited to fish for free between 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
