Dewey’s 1-mile long beach is situated along the Atlantic Ocean and is a great place for playing games on the beach and water skiing or parasailing in the ocean. Dolphins can sometimes be spotted in the ocean, too. Lifeguards are on duty in the summer months, but there are no bathhouses, restrooms or changing stations along the beach. Bring your beach chair and umbrella and enjoy a day in the sand.
There is no fee or beach tag needed to access Dewey beach.
Beach access is easily obtained by any of the side streets in Dewey that dead end into the beach. There is no central access point or parking area. Street parking is extremely limited so walking to the beach is highly recommended.
