Get your children’s brains working by spending a morning, afternoon or even an entire day at DuPage Children’s Museum. Exhibits include Make It Move, which encourages kiddies to roll, bounce, slide and spin their way to a better understanding of basic physics and the energy of motion, and Young Explorers, which is designed specifically with children under 2 in mind. Here, both their physical and intellectual abilities are put to the test in the presence of their parents. Creativity classes and camps are offered, as well as programs for adults. Refuel at the Museum’s onsite dining establishment — S.M.A.R.T. Café, where visitors can indulge in fare such as soups and salads and pepperoni pizza grilled cheese. Gluten free options are also available.

Admission is $11 for those ages 1 through 59, and $10 for seniors ages 60 and up. The Museum is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
