Located on the waterfront in Burlington, Vermont, ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain invites children to learn about lake life in hands-on exhibits that are also fun for adults.
Exhibits at the non-profit aquarium include Before the Basin, showcasing early times when beluga whales and seals inhabited Lake Champlain; Action Lab, where you can take a 120-mile virtual tour of the lake; and, introduced in 2016, Champ Lane, an area that’s designed for children from birth to six years.

Hours
It’s open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, year-round. It is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

Admission
Admission is $13.50 for adults, $11.50 for students and seniors, $10.50 for kids ages 3 to 17 and free for children 2 and under.
