The downtown Vancouver waterfront, False Creek, is a small inlet that is perfect for kayaking and boating. Ferries provide transportation around the waterways, including the revitalized False Creek thriving residential area with restaurants and shops now in the area of town that hosted the 2010 Olympic Village.

Just Plain Gorgeous
by Thomas V
The water views are tremendous, but I dearly love the repeated views of lovely modern architecture with great urban design. It really works and the public arrives in great numbers to enjoy it.
Gorgeous area of Vancouver
We caught the water taxi from near here. Lots of little stops if you have time. We only went over to Granville island.
