Kids fascinated by planes can get up close to a variety of aircraft and will likely beeline to “Dusty,” which looks like the character from Disney’s “Planes” movie. Kids can climb into the seat and pose for photos. Other aircraft includes a Vietnam-era helicopter, a Douglas DC-3 you can walk into, a 1939 B-25 bomber, historic displays and a mural on the evolution of aviation.
Special events include astronomy talks, electronics, radio, photography, weather, welding and aviation camps, chances to use the flight simulators and a Santa Fly-In during the holidays.
Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Free for kids 4 and under; $5 for 5 to 11; $7 for military, students and seniors; $8, adults
