The largest section of the park, the Fest Area has a good ratio of rides, dining, shopping, and an arcade. In fact, the best variety of dining options is here, including the indoor, air conditioned Alpine Fest Haus. You’ll also find typical amusement park snacks like funnel cakes and turkey legs.

There are a few classic rides here, including the wooden Comet coaster, the Sky Ride gondolas, the Giant Wheel (a Ferris wheel), and the Alpine Bobsled, which was closed while we visited. Raging River is a raft ride, and you will get wet. Young children will enjoy the Alice in Wonderland walk-through attraction.
