Fort Mackinac

Built in 1780, this Victorian period fort recreates the Victorian era for visitors. Tickets to the fort are a part of the Historic Downtown Mackinac ticket that includes admission to the Biddle House, Benjamin Blacksmith Shop, McGulpin House, American Fur Company Retail Store/Dr. William Beaumont Memorial Museum and the Mission Church, each providing a glimpse into the early 1800s life on the island and featuring French-Canadian architecture (only June 7 though Aug. 16, 2014). Special programs are offered for children.
