Family Activities:

Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo

Attraction

Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo

3411 Sherman Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN

Families will adore this zoo. With more than 40 acres of animal exhibits, families will wander through different “countries” like Australia and Africa, observing the kangaroos, lions, penguins, Tasmanian devils, zebra, monkeys, birds, seals and fish. All of the exhibits are kid-friendly in the sense that kids can see the animals from their height. The kids can view the animals from strollers or low levels and parents don’t have to continuously pick the kids up to see.

With the VIP Experiences, kids can feed the stingrays or the giraffes or take a pony ride. It’s also not just about the animals at this zoo; there is a chair lift ride that has guests soaring above the zoo, a train ride, a carousel and a river creek ride, among others. Families could easily spend a full or half-day here. Strollers and wagons are available to rent.
