Fota Wildlife Park

Attraction

Set on 70 acres on Fota Island, Fota Wildlife Park is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Ireland. A 15-minute drive from Cork City, the park has walking paths through a free roaming animal and bird park. Families will like the smooth walking paths, onsite food options and play areas throughout the park for younger children.

To get a behind-the-scenes experience and help feed the animals, families can opt for the VIP Family Experience. Family passes are available (two adults and up to four children). Children up to age 2 are free.

Hours

Daily, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Last entry at 3 p.m. Closed December 24, 25 and 26.

Things to Know/Bring

Wear comfortable shoes, and bring hats, jackets, umbrellas, and sunscreen as the park is outside. Bring a stroller for smaller children.

Dining

There are two cafes with hot and cold food on either end of the park. Snacks and drinks are available in the gift shop.

Parking

Paid parking is adjacent to the main entrance.
