For big thrills and sheer splash factor, head directly to Frontierland. Featuring an Old-West theme, lively music and two of the Magic Kingdom’s most popular rides — Splash Mountain (a flume ride) and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (a runaway train-themed roller-coaster; minimum height to ride is 40 inches for both) — a visit to this land is a must for visitors ages 8 and up. For younger children, Country Bear Jamboree, a corny musical revue, delivers laughs and air-conditioned relief. Underneath Splash Mountain, there’s a small shaded play area where toddlers can take a break while older siblings enjoy the wet ride. If you’re planning to board the Walt Disney World Railroad at Frontierland Station, note that park rental strollers are not allowed on the train, however, personal strollers (must be folded) are permitted. Other stops on the Railroad include Fantasyland and Main Street, U.S.A.
