Garden of the Gods

1805 N. 30th St., Colorado Springs, CO

A National Natural Landmark, Garden of the Gods is the most visited attraction in Colorado Springs, and one you shouldn’t miss with kids. Plan to spend a few hours exploring this natural wonder!

First, stop at the Garden of the Gods Visitor & Nature Center for interactive exhibits about the flora and fauna, animals and climate of the awe-inspiring park. Be sure to check out the dinosaur replica of a single species that was only ever found in Garden of the Gods! You can also grab a bite to eat at the onsite café or pick up a souvenir to take home. Walk outside to the viewing deck, too, which provides some of the best photo ops of the park.

Afterward, hop in the car and make your way through Garden of the Gods via scenic drive, stopping off at vista points (there are many) or for short hikes (there are many of those, as well). Explore the park on horseback for an extra-special experience!

Hours
Garden of the Gods is open 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily; the visitor center is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
