The impressive bell tower and clock of the Neus Rathaus in Marienplatz is a crowd-pleaser. Just wait for the clock to strike and 43 bells begin to ring while 32 life-sized figures begin to dance. The two-story “window” reenacts stories from the 16th century, and comes to life at 11 a.m. every day, as well as at noon and 5 p.m. in the summer. The entire dance takes 12 minutes.
