This trail near Sand Beach is great for all ages: fairly short, not overly strenuous (but also not so easy that it’s disappointing), and great views of the bay. Whereas some of the trails at Acadia might be too steep for little legs, this hike is suitable for the entire family. Budget about an hour for the round trip.
