Open seasonally from Memorial Day to late-September, the Hellman-Ehrman Mansion is a historic site on a California National Park in Lake Tahoe that offers families acres upon acres to explore. Tours of the mansion are offered, while the grounds are great for hiking and picnicking. Tours take families and guests through the main home, the boat houses, maids’ quarters, the butler’s cabin, the children’s house and more.

Tours of the Hellman-Ehrman Mansion are offered weekdays on the hour starting at 12:30 p.m., and weekends on the half hour starting at 10:30 a.m. Additional tours are added during the peak summer season, in July and August. Kids ages 6 and under receive free admission.
