While common in the Southwest, hot springs are not found in too many parts of the country. Take the family for a dip in the soothing, refreshing and healing waters of Ojo Caliente. The sulpher-free, geothermal mineral waters are derived from a subterranean volcanic aquifer, existent for thousands of years. And, this is the only hot springs in the world that offers four different types of minerals in their waters. Pool temperatures range from 80 to 109 degrees, with varying options for different aged children. Pools are open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. Please note children age 12 and under are welcome in the large pool only from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. with parental supervision. If your child is not yet potty trained, please bring swim diapers for them to enter the large pool. There are numerous rate packages to choose from and special sunset rates. Call in advance for additional spa services, reservations and rates.
