Hulhumale Beach is a long stretch of white sand on the capital, easily accessible for those waiting for flights or transfers. The gentle waves are good for young children, while older children and teens can rent kayaks and stand-up paddleboards.

Note that women must dress modestly at this beach, and alcohol is not allowed. There is a fenced off tourist beach at one end, where rules are more relaxed.
