There are some stroller-friendly trails in Flagstaff, but Humphrey’s Peak is not one of them. Pack plenty of water (and snacks) for this adventure–plus perhaps a jacket, since even in summer you’ll find snow at the top (if you make it that far). At an elevation of 12,637 feet, this mountain isn’t as much a destination for the casual hiker or the very young, but if you can stick it out to the top, you’ll be rewarded with a gorgeous view. Budget at least six hours if you’re planning to tackle the whole thing!
