Hurricane Harbor

Attraction

Hurricane Harbor is a separate water park on the grounds with its own entrance. It’s open from late May through early September. With a tropical island theme, this venue features a million-gallon wave pool, one of the world’s longest lazy rivers, nearly 20 waterslides, and several water playgrounds.

There are plenty of thrill rides here, too. Big Wave Racer is an aerodynamic water toboggan ride with several steep drops stretching 1,800 feet. Tornado is a funnel ride that begins with a 75-foot drop. King Cobra is a 256-foot, red and white snake slide that begins 56 feet in the air. Special areas for little ones include Discovery Bay, with a huge shallow water playground, and Taak It Eez Ee Creek, a scenic lazy river raft cruise. In 2016, a new Caribbean Cove water play area opened, featuring more than 55 interactive features like spray nozzles, jets, valves, water guns, and a giant tipping bucket, as well as a 2-foot-deep, beach-entry pool.
