Watching a master glassblower perform their craft is a magical experience for kids, and at Icefire Glassworks, they’ll have the chance to view two or three glass artists at a time. The Glassworks is centrally located directly across the street from the main parking lot for Cannon Beach, and is worth spending at least 30 minutes to an hour closely observing the artists blow glass into different shapes and objects.

You do run a small risk of it being a slow day, with the furnaces turned off, so don’t promise anything to your kids. However, the shop itself, with thousands of amazing glass works of art, is a sight to behold. There’s no charge to browse the store or watch the artists at work.
