The former palace of the Habsburgs, who ruled over Austria in what is now referred to as the Hapsburg Dynasty, is now a collection of sites of interest to families. Tour the Imperial Apartments for a glimpse at what royal life was like in Vienna. The Court Chapel, the oldest part of the palace, is world famous as the home of the Vienna Boys’ Choir, where performances are held throughout the year, with the exception of July and August. The Treasury will give kids a look at the royal jewels, and the Collection of Arms and Armor to see the ornate collection of wartime protection worn by the Austrians.
