John Lennon Wall

Velkoprevorske Namesti, Mala Strana, Prague

When Communism was still a part of Prague, people used a large wall to mark their frustrations in graffiti. Following the life and death of John Lennon, the wall became a place where artists would write song lyrics and discuss peace, as well as draw his likeness. For this reason, the wall became known as the John Lennon Wall. The wall gets repainted over and over again, and sometimes the city whitewashes it before it is filled again, but it is a place that truly showcases the big hearts of the people of Prague.
