If you’re traveling with older kids, consider a ride via La Gondola. A variety of trip packages are offered, though the most basic one includes a trip along the rivers with an ice bucket, wine glasses and a bottle opener (just bring your own beverages); complimentary water bottles; handmade Italian wine biscuits from a local vendor; and music sung by the gondolier who steers you during the adventure. Gondolas can carry up to six passengers.
