The highlight of this public state park is the sandy beach on Lake George, commonly known as “Million Dollar Beach.” The water is calm, clean, and shallow for a good stretch, and lifeguards are on duty in the summer. There are showers, picnic areas, a volleyball court, and a public boat launch.

Hours
The beach is open on weekends beginning on Memorial Day weekend, and then daily from the third Saturday in June through Labor Day, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Admission
Admission to the beach is free, but parking is $10 per car.
