Since it’s a state park, Lake Havasu State Park has a fun Junior Ranger program for kids ages 6 to 12. Families can camp here or just come for a day to play in the water, walk the trails or visit the Interpretive Garden, which is great for wildlife watching. There is a day use beach here, which helps if the camping sites are all full. This park is a favorite for boaters to camp near the shoreline, giving them easy access.
It costs $15 per vehicle to enter on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and state holidays, and $10 all other days.
