Lake Tahoe – Nevada State Park is open year-round to visitors who want to hike, bike, picnic and more in the park. The Sand Harbor area affords beautiful beaches and lake access, great for swimming, water sports and sun bathing. The Spooner Backcountry area is open for camping, fishing and hiking. The Cave Rock area has a boat ramp and a small beach for swimming. The Van Sickle area is open for hiking and picnics, as well as walks around of the 1914 Van Sickle family barn and farm.
