Land of Little Horses Farm Park

125 Glenwood Drive, Gettysburg, 17325, PA

Land of Little Horses Farm Park is like nothing you’ve ever seen, and remains a slightly hidden gem in Gettysburg. Opened in 1971, the farm features one-of-a-kind, miniature horses from Argentina, along with a plethora of other animals, all of whom possess unique skills demonstrated in daily shows. Don’t miss the pig that plays piano, or the goat that rolls barrels! Land of Little Horses also provides special activities on a daily basis — these might include bathing or feeding the horses. Other highlights include a miniature Western village, complete with a saloon and jail (and said to be expanding in the near future). An onsite eatery and unique gift shop add to the park’s charm.

Admission is $11.95 for ages 2 to 5, $13.95 for ages 6 to 11 and $15.95 for age 12 and up. Pony and wagon rides are available for an additional fee of $5. Summer hours, offered June through August, are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 12 to 5 p.m. on Sundays. The park is closed November through April, but offers weekend hours in September, October and May.
