They say lavender soothes the savage beast, so maybe the restful scents wafting from Lavender Hill Farm will magically calm even the crankiest preschooler. This farm is fairy-tale beautiful, even when the lavender is done blooming (from mid-June to late July). It’s a great place to roam around and blow off steam, and the tours, by foot or golf cart, are free. Inside the gift shop, lavender products abound, such as lotions, dried lavender, and surprisingly yummy lavender jelly and ice cream. A great spot to unwind and breathe in nature’s peace.
