Family Activities:

Lithia Park

Attraction

Lithia Park is the crown jewel of Ashland’s park system. Its 93 forested acres dominate the western side of town from the Shakespeare Festival grounds down to the Granite Street Reservoir. It’s the perfect place for a family walk away from the downtown crowds.

Ashland Creek, which runs all through the park, quickly drowns out the noise of theater goers and cars on Main Street. Trails meander all over the park, leading to duck ponds, waterfalls, bridges, and a little playground that kids will love.

Lithia Park is the place to be on hot days, as most of the trails are shady and cool, and there are plenty of picnic tables for a meal out in the fresh air and nature. Don’t miss the Japanese Gardens.
