The directions are somewhat scarce, but if you keep your eyes open as you approach Los Veras from the south, you can’t miss this colorful spot on the right hand side of the road. The family-owned business has been here for generations, primarily as a wholesale distributor to restaurants and hotels in the region.

Your family will enjoy a stop here to see the wide variety of bananas, Jack fruit, mangoes and pineapples fresh from the fields. The candies are all locally made with local products. For a little bit of fun, buy some communion wafers with images of Spiderman and Dora the Explorer. Purchase pure tamarin to take home for your kitchen, as well as local sea salt in 5-pound bags. Another reason to stop — Los Kiki’s has clean bathrooms open to the public.
