This beautiful white-sand beach is best accessed by boat (but can be accessed by a rough road). The waters are clear blue and calm, making it a good spot for young swimmers and snorkelers.

Dining

Several beach restaurants line the sand and most boat tours recommend their guests go to a specific restaurant. The seafood and drinks all come highly recommended and once you’ve chosen a table, it’s yours to enjoy during your visit at Maguey Bay. Ice cream carts and other vendors stroll the beach and can be persistent in their sales tactics, but a polite decline is all that is needed if you are not interested.

We highly recommend El Camaron Gigante, famous for its seafood pineapple. The pineapple is hollowed out and filled with shrimp and cheese before being baked in a wood-fired oven!
