Marblehead Lighthouse

Attraction

Built in 1821, this is the oldest lighthouse in continuous use on the Great Lakes. Visitors can climb the spiral stairs to the top and see fabulous views of Lake Erie, Cedar Point Amusement Park and even Canada. The grounds of the lighthouse are surrounded by Lake Erie and feature great spots for photos and exploring the rocky shores.

The museum and lifesaving station can be found on the grounds next to the lighthouse. Inside, visitors can tour maritime exhibits and learn about the history of Lake Erie and the lighthouse.

Hours
Open daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The lighthouse tower is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the museum is open from noon to 4 p.m.

Cost
It’s $3 for adults and children 6 years and older to climb to the top of the lighthouse and free for children under 6 years old.

A free parking lot is available.
