This hands-on children’s museum, located inside the River Park Square shopping area, is often packed because kids just love spending time here. More than 93,000 people walked through the doors last year. There is so much to do, play and interact with at the Mobius Children’s Museum and it’s a place that encourages parent-child interaction.
There are sports and theater play and arts and crafts – make your own slime! The kids can learn about traffic and how to cross the street at Cooper’s Corner, which was donated by the family of a child who was killed in a traffic accident. Kids can “drive” toy cars or pretend to be the crossing guard or police officer. There is a giant dog house that includes a giant slide. The water play table is always a blast and the bubble table is even more fun.
10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday and closed on Monday.
Children and adults are $8; children under 12 months are free. Bonus Pass: $10 for entrance to both Mobius Science Center and Children’s Museum.
