Family Activities:

Montana Snowbowl

Attraction

Montana Snowbowl is not just home to fun (skiing) during the winter months — it is home to fun all year-round. Summer activities include mountain biking, Diggler Mountain Scooters, and zip-lining. Families often opt to just ride the chairlift up and down, as well. Onsite family dining is also available at The Last Run Inn on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., in addition to The Double Diamond Café.

Mountain Biking
Families can choose from one of six trails to peddle their way down and around — simply hop on the Grizzly chairlift up to 7,000 feet, and bike back down to the base at 5,000 feet.

Diggler Mountain Scooters
Diggler Mountain Scooters are a cross between a mountain bike and a scooter, and are sure to be fun for the entire family. They feature the same brakes and suspension as mountain bikes, but don’t have pedals. They are $20 to rent for the entire day, and $27 with a lift ticket. Those wary riders (must be pass holders) can opt for the one-and-a-half-hour trial run, which costs $10, or the $17 trial run for those with lift tickets. Zip-lining costs $37 per person.

Zip Line Tour
This tour features four zip lines, ranging in length from 600 feet to a whopping 1,000 feet, and as high as 200 feet off the ground. It takes you through trees and over trails at exhilarating speeds. The tour takes just about one hour and 45 minutes, and costs $37 per person. Please note that there is a moderate amount of hiking involved. Tours are offered seasonally Thursday through Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Reservations are strongly encouraged.

Admission
It costs $8 to ride the chairlift for adults, and $4.50 for kids ages 6 to 12 and seniors 60 and up. Children ages 5 and under are free.

Hours
Hours vary by the season and activity.
