This Japanese culture center has been in operation since 1977, offering an authentic tea house with tea ceremonies, Japanese festivals, and educational outreach programs. The museum, resembling a Japanese villa, showcases the history of Yamato Colony, which began in the area in 1904. More than 7,000 pieces are showcased in the museum. The 16-acre gardens feature strolling paths, lakes with koi, and a bonsai collection. A 200-acre park with nature paths and picnic areas is also part of the property. The museum and gardens are closed on Mondays. A café is located on premises.
