NASA Wallops Visitors Center

For families who are into space and rocket launches, the NASA Wallops Visitor Center is a fun and educational place to visit. Rocket launches take place at nearby Wallops Island, just 4 miles from the Visitors Center, several times throughout the year. Viewing opportunities are available on a first come, first served basis at the bleachers outside the Visitors Center. An observation deck on top of the building is also open to the public at certain times throughout the year.
